Can I See An Emergency Dentist on a Weekend or Bank Holiday?

Yes, we always do our best to offer emergency dental services on a weekend or bank holiday. We have multiple dentists in our practice and should be able to assist you. 

If you call our main operating number, it will continue to ring and go to our out-of-hours service. You will be able to speak with one of our dentists to discuss your case and we can offer advice or arrange a time to see you at short notice.

Whether it is Good Friday or Bank Holiday Monday, we know that toothache doesn’t take a vacation. We will always do our best to get you seen and out of pain as soon as possible.

Will I See An Emergency Dentist on The Same Day?

Yes, if you have emergency tooth pain on a regular work day, you should be able to see an emergency dentist on the same day or at least the next day. 

Whilst we may have patients booked, we can occasionally find gaps and allocate some time if you are in a lot of pain. The timing might vary, but you can always wait to see one of our dentists at the end of the day.

How Much Does It Cost To See An Emergency Dentist?

An emergency assessment will cost £150.00. Please consider that the cost of treatment may be a little higher than usual due to out of hour conditions.

Can I See An Emergency Dentist on The NHS?

SilverOak Dentistry is a fully private practice and your emergency visit will incur a fee. If you are looking for free treatment, you can enquire with your NHS dental practice or call NHS 11 or visit 111.nhs.uk who may be able to offer advice or refer you to an urgent dental care centre in your area.

What Should I Do if I Knock Out a Tooth? 

If a tooth is knocked out, keep it moist and call us immediately. If possible, place it gently back into the socket or store it in milk until you reach the clinic. Acting quickly gives the best chance of saving the tooth.

Can you Help with Severe Dental Pain Outside Normal Hours?

If you have extreme toothache or swelling outside our opening hours, call 111 for NHS advice. For urgent care during our hours, contact Gabriel’s Hill Dental directly, we’ll do our best to offer a same-day appointment.
